Our deli is overflowing with a huge assortment of traditional products as well as some special luxury items.
We have a wide range of cheeses from Norfolk including Mrs Temple’s Binham Blue, Warham with tomato & herbs, Walsingham Mature, as well as Norfolk-made White Lady, Norfolk Dapple and Mardler goats cheese. We also stock cheeses from further afield including Cornish, Lancashire and Lincolnshire cheese.
The charcuterie includes beef, turkey, salt beef (cured ourselves) and ham which are prepared by our own butchers and then cooked in the restaurant – the local beef is particularly popular and is reared in Roughton, just 300 yards from the farm shop. Our on-site butchers also make and prepare their own haslet and special recipe black pudding.
Other goodies include locally made pies, quiches and pastries together with marinated olives, pâtés and other antipasti. Amongst the most popular items on the deli counter are the homemade scotch eggs, sausage rolls and pasties made by our head chef.
Our dairy products are sourced from a North Norfolk based family run farm called Pointens Dairy. Run on very traditional lines with an emphasis on high welfare standards, Pointens believe rightly that ‘Happy cows are productive cows!’ Products include un-homogenized pasturised cream milk and ‘live’ yoghurts.
