Drinks / Wine Cellar
We stock a large range of Norfolk ales, beers and lagers as well as British wines and ciders.
We regularly update our range but you’ll always find something a bit unusual in our beer section: “Headcracker”, “Granny wouldn’t like it” or “Tinsel Toes”.
A small selection of our wines:
Lavenham Bacchus (British) – A modern Reisling-cross variety, which gives an elderflower aroma initially then complex fruit flavours. Medium dry with fresh, crisp acidity.
Pinot Grigio (Italian) – From the central alpine region of Trentino in Northern Italy. Lots of citrus fruit with floral aromas. Fruity yet light, refreshing with a little dryness to finish.
Franck Massard Herbis (Spanish) – Medium light yellow colour. Lovely notes of tangerine, Earl grey tea and nettle. Juicy and refreshing with a long citrus finish.
Chablis Domaine Billaud-Simon (French) – Pretty golden yellow in colour. Complex and delicate. Fresh and elegant with notes of vanilla.
Pasos de la Capula (Spanish) – A medium bodied wine, deep pink in colour with strawberries and cream on the nose and a fresh palate. Great class and depth of flavour.
Beaujolais Villages (French) – The Gamay grape thrives in the granite soils found in Southern Burgundy. A light wine with delicate cherry scents and flavours of red berry fruits.
Castello Chianti (Italian) – Bright ruby red in colour , full of cherry flavours and fresh fruits mingled with spicy pepper notes. A beautiful long silky finish.
